Basketball Game Preview: Turner Lions vs. Fort Worth THESA Riders

Having just played yesterday, the Turner Lions will jump right back in to play the Fort Worth THESA Riders at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Turner has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Turner duked it out withTerrell on Thursday. Turner enjoyed a cozy 62-45 win over Terrell.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Turner to victory, but perhaps none more so than Matthew Stone, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 20 points and six rebounds. Leo Portillo was another key player, going 6 of 10 on his way to 16 points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Fort Worth THESA had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 65-58 victory over the Eagles.

Fort Worth THESA's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Turner, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
