Basketball Recap: Hidden Valley Gets the Win

Hidden Valley hadn't done well against Philomath recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Mustangs snuck past the Warriors with a 50-46 victory. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 69-62 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

The victory made it two in a row for Hidden Valley and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Philomath, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hidden Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Stayton at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Philomath, they will head out to square off against Junction City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
