Basketball Recap: Bridge to Independence Wildcats vs. Colonial Grenadiers
After flying high against Forest Lake Academy last Tuesday, Bridge to Independence came back down to earth. The Bridge to Independence Wildcats took a 92-79 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colonial Grenadiers on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 376th, while the Grenadiers are ranked 138th).

Bridge to Independence's loss came despite strong showings from Jye Moreno and Jaydan Jeantinord. Moreno went 13 for 22 on his way to 34 points and five steals, while Jeantinord went 5 of 12 en route to 14 points in addition to eight boards and five assists.
