Baseball Game Preview: Navajo Prep Eagles vs. Laguna Acoma Hawks

The Navajo Prep Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Laguna Acoma Hawks at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Navajo Prep has given up an average of 13.4 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Navajo Prep lost 15-3 to Rehoboth Christian on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Navajo Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Khol Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Andre Nakai also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Laguna Acoma's offense. They came up short against Hozho Academy on Thursday, falling 11-0.

Laguna Acoma's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Navajo Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
