Baseball Recap: Juanita Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Juanita nor Mount Si made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Ravens' pitchers stepped up to hand the Wildcats a 2-0 shutout.

On the hitting side, Juanita saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ronan Scoffield, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Scoffield has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Juanita is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Mount Si, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.
