Volleyball Recap: Le Mars Bulldogs vs. Unity Christian Knights
Le Mars lost against Unity Christian back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Le Mars Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Unity Christian Knights. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Unity Christian to victory were Callie Karhoff and Sienna Rosenboom. Karhoff had 17 digs, while Rosenboom had four digs. Karhoff is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in the last five games she's played dating back to last season.
Le Mars' loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Unity Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-9.
Le Mars will welcome Bishop Heelan Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Unity Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Sibley-Ocheyedan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
