Chaminade won the last time they faced Birmingham and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Chaminade Eagles had just enough and edged out the Birmingham Patriots 5-4.

Chaminade got a great performance from Adam Batmanian as he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits.

At the plate, Isaiah Hearn was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Anthony Costa also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Chaminade's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Birmingham, they moved to 3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chaminade will face off against Calabasas at 3:00 p.m. on March 5th. As for Birmingham, they will challenge Sylmar at 3:00 p.m. on March 5th.
