Volleyball Recap: Pasco Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pasco and Wesley Chapel squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Pasco had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost nine in a row.

Pasco started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-18.

Morgan Spooner paced Pasco's offense, picking up nine kills. Spooner got some help from Karoline Zabilowicz and her 18 assists. Zabilowicz also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Maya Vidal, each putting up two.

Pasco's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Wesley Chapel, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-16.

Pasco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wesley Chapel, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against River Ridge on the 14th.
