GlenOak and Medina squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but GlenOak had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Battling Bees by a score of 9-8. The Golden Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their 16-game winning streak.

Ethan Krum and Kyle Moff stepped up to the plate in a big way. Krum went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double, while Moff went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Colton McLean, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

GlenOak's loss dropped their record down to 25-5. As for Medina, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

GlenOak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Medina, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Perrysburg on the 6th.
