Volleyball Recap: South Knox Starts Season with Loss on the Road

South Knox had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Evansville North Huskies on Saturday. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Huskies when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-13, 25-9.

Evansville North found their leader in freshman Emma Graves, who had 11 digs and four assists.

Coming up, South Knox will head out to square off against Sullivan at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Evansville North, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tecumseh at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
