Almeta Crawford had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Fort Bend Bush Broncos. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

Almeta Crawford's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Fort Bend Bush, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Almeta Crawford will face off against Alief Hastings at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Bend Bush, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fort Bend Clements at 5:30 p.m. on September 5.
