Basketball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

After flying high against Monessen last Saturday, Washington came back down to earth. The Washington Prexies lost 62-40 to the South Side Rams on Monday. The Prexies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-13.

Despite the loss, Washington still got an impressive performance from Kyndra Wynn, who posted eight points and six boards. Wynn is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games she's played. Tahjanae Bryant was another key player, putting up seven points.

Washington has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for South Side, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

As of now, neither Washington nor South Side have any future games scheduled.
