Basketball Recap: Rio Vista's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Rio Vista had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Meyer Ravens on Friday as the Rio Vista Eagles made off with a 48-25 win. The match marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season.

Rio Vista's win bumped their record up to 9-20. As for Meyer, they dropped their record down to 4-16 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Valley Mills the next time they take the court. Meyer will head out to face Valley Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Rio Vista will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
