Eagleville and Middle College squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Eagleville had to settle for second. They took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

When it comes to explaining why Eagleville lost, don't look at Jonathan Jordan. Despite the final result, he rushed for 101 yards on only 11 carries.

Eagleville's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Middle College, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
