Soccer Game Preview: Highline vs. Interlake

The Highline Pirates will face off against the Interlake Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highline's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Highline's win against Tyee wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Pirates won by a goal and slipped past the Titans 3-2. Highline haven't had any issues with Tyee recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

While Interlake didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-13-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Evergreen on Tuesday. That two-goal margin sets a new team best for Interlake this season.

Highline's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Interlake, their win bumped their record up to 5-0-1.

Highline skirted past Interlake 2-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Saints turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
