The South Side Rams will head out to face off against the Central Valley Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. South Side is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

Central Valley will be up against a hot South Side team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. South Side walked away with a 7-2 win over Apollo Ridge on Tuesday.

Rj Fisher made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Fisher was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on RydeR Goe, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Andrew Corfield, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Central Valley fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Neshannock on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 12-11. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lancers 8-2 in the first period.

South Side's record now sits at 3-1. As for Central Valley, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
