Basketball Game Preview: University Titans vs. Atlantic Sharks

The University Titans will challenge the Atlantic Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Atlantic is hoping to do what Tenoroc couldn't on Friday: put an end to University's winning streak, which now stands at four games. University came out on top against Tenoroc by a score of 63-54.

Meanwhile, Atlantic posted their closest win since November 21, 2024 on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Hagerty 56-53. Given the Sharks' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Huskies are ranked 281st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Atlantic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for University, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

University beat Atlantic 42-35 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Will University repeat their success, or does Atlantic have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
