Basketball Recap: Harmony School of Innovation Comes Up Short

Harmony School of Innovation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They were dealt a 73-23 loss at the hands of the Royal Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 81-25 back in January.

It was another big night for Zaelyn Shelton, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten boards for Royal. The dominant performance also gave Shelton a new career-high in steals (eight). Another player making a difference was Mikey Lang, who went 9 for 18 en route to 18 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Harmony School of Innovation's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Royal, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-17 record this season.

Harmony School of Innovation does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Royal, they will head out to face off against Stafford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stafford will roll in looking for their 33rd straight win, something Royal surely won't give up without a fight.
