Basketball Recap: Edison Academy Comes Up Short

Edison Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Advanced Tech Academy on Wednesday. The matchup between the Edison Academy Pioneers and the Advanced Tech Academy Lakers didn't end well, with the Edison Academy Pioneers falling 56-41.

Edison Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. The victory was the 14th in a row for Advanced Tech Academy, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.

Edison Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Advanced Tech Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against University Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. University Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Advanced Tech Academy likes a good challenge.
