Grimsley came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Providence Classical Paladins.

Allison Mulry paced Grimsley's offense, picking up eight kills. Mulry got some help from Elizabeth Gray and her 22 assists. Gray also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Morgan Falk, racking up four apiece.

Grimsley's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Providence Classical, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-3-1 record.

Grimsley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against McKinney Christian Academy on the 28th. As for Providence Classical, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Crestview on the 28th.
