Volleyball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillman Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hillman, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Coming up, Fairview is taking a road trip to challenge Au Gres-Sims at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillman, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Oscoda on the 20th.
