Baseball Recap: Chiles Has No Trouble Against Wakulla

Chiles never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Wakulla War Eagles with a sharp 8-0 win. The Timberwolves haven't had any issues with the War Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Colby Tadder was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Correa, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Chiles' win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Wakulla, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.

Chiles and Wakulla should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Chiles will challenge Menendez at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 270 places (118 vs. 388). Meanwhile, Wakulla (ranked 183rd) will meet Liberty County (ranked 399th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
