For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Scott and Goodland meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Beavers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cowboys. The Beavers have struggled against the Cowboys recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12.

Scott's loss came despite strong showings from Player #10 and Crissa Irvin. Player #10 had 11 digs, while Irvin had 11 digs. Player #10 is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 16-23. As for Goodland, their victory was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 29-7.

Scott does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Goodland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Phillipsburg on the 20th.
