Basketball Game Preview: Northridge Jaguars vs. Paul W. Bryant Stampede

The Northridge Jaguars are taking a road trip to take on the Paul W. Bryant Stampede at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

It was a proper cat-fight when Northridge duked it out withBriarwood Christian on Saturday. Northridge blew past Briarwood Christian 74-49. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Paul W. Bryant was able to grind out a solid victory over Wenonah on Monday, taking the game 77-65.

Paul W. Bryant has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.1 points per game. As for Northridge, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.

Northridge came up short against Paul W. Bryant in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 62-52. Can Northridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
