Volleyball Recap: Jeffersontown Takes a Loss

Jeffersontown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Waggener Wildcats. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jeffersontown's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Waggener, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Jeffersontown will square off against Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waggener, they will take on Atherton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
