It was a proper cat-fight when Destiny Christian Academy faced off against West Park on Wednesday. Destiny Christian Academy strolled past West Park with points to spare, taking the game 62-44. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Panthers are ranked 390th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Oakland Tech waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Tigers 68-54.

Destiny Christian Academy pushed their record up to 14-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Oakland Tech, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
