Basketball Recap: GRACE Christian Eagles vs. Trinity Academy Tigers
Even though the GRACE Christian Eagles have not done well against the Trinity Academy Tigers recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. GRACE Christian came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 65-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Quasim Oden was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with three steals. He hasn't dropped below 17 points for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Steven McLeod, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
GRACE Christian has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Trinity Academy, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
GRACE Christian will head out on the road to challenge the Bulldogs at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity Academy, they will be playing at home against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. David's has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 5.
