Upper St. Clair won the last time they faced Baldwin and Ethan Hellmann did his part to make sure it happened again. The Panthers claimed a resounding 56-8 victory over the Highlanders for which the team can thank Hellmann, who threw for 182 yards and five TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 32 yards and one score. His passing game has become a key predictor of Upper St. Clair's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Upper St. Clair's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: John Banbury, Beck Shields, and Will Stohl, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Upper St. Clair's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Baldwin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
