Volleyball Recap: Mira Costa's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Mira Costa had won four straight games and Jordan Shelor did her part to make it five on Tuesday. Everything went the Mustangs' way against the Torrance Tartars as they made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Shelor, who had six digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-20, 25-14.

Mira Costa's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Torrance, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Looking ahead, Mira Costa will face off against Casteel at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Torrance, they will challenge El Segundo at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
