Basketball Recap: Bangor Takes a Loss

Bangor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 51-41 to the Hampden Broncos. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Broncos are ranked 23rd).

Bangor's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Hampden, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bangor will host Scarborough at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hampden, they will welcome Gardiner at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
