Preview: Scott Beavers vs. Colby Eagles
Scott is 7-2 against Colby since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Scott Beavers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Colby Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Scott is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Last Friday, Scott took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 58-14 win over Goodland. The result was nothing new for Scott, who have now won five matches by 22 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, Colby didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Lakin on Friday, but they still walked away with a 20-14 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Colby.
Scott's victory was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 6-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.8 points per game. As for Colby, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Everything came up roses for Scott against Colby when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 48-0 win. Will Scott repeat their success, or does Colby have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
