Liberty Christian benefitted from Woodyard in 17-7 victory
Luke Woodyard produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Liberty Christian to the win on Saturday. Indiana School for the Deaf had no answer to Woodyard as he scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Woodyard's strong effort led Liberty Christian over Indiana School for the Deaf and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Liberty Christian is 6-1 against Indiana School for the Deaf going back to May of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
