Volleyball Recap: The Village School of Naples Starts Season with Defeat at Home

The Village School of Naples unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Lely Trojans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Trojans when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20, 25-10.

Lely has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Village School of Naples will host Mason Classical Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lely, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Gulf Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
