After a string of three wins, Heritage Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They had to suffer through a 62-22 loss at the hands of the Rural Vista [Hope/White City] Heat.

Kaimey Evans went supernova for Rural Vista [Hope/White City], going 8 of 12 on her way to 19 points along with eight steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Clara Noeth, who went 5 for 11 en route to 10 points and seven rebounds.

Heritage Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Rural Vista [Hope/White City], their record now sits at 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage Christian will square off against St. Joseph D at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Joseph D's defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so Heritage Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Rural Vista [Hope/White City], they will take on Wabaunsee at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
