Football Recap: Iroquois West Takes a Loss

Iroquois West lost against Watseka back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders and the Warriors were almost perfectly matched up, but the Raiders suffered a 7-6 loss.

Even if they lost, Iroquois West's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Aayden Miller, Julian Melgoza, and Grant Frisbie, who each picked up one sack apiece. Miller was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Iroquois West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Watseka, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
