Kosciusko has gone a perfect 10-0 against Louisville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Kosciusko will take on Louisville at 7:00 p.m. Kosciusko will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Kosciusko had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Choctaw Central on Saturday. Kosciusko blew past Choctaw Central 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Whippets, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Louisville unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 15-10 to Choctaw County.

Josh Ammons made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-5. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Braydon Rogers also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Ammons wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Louisville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for Louisville: they were averaging 4.5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.

Kosciusko's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. As for Louisville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.

Everything went Kosciusko's way against Louisville when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Kosciusko made off with an 11-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kosciusko since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
