Bradenton Christian took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Cardinal Mooney Cougars 3-2. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Bradenton Christian got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-17, 23-25, 15-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bradenton Christian will square off against Tampa Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cardinal Mooney, they will take on Port Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
