Soccer Recap: Cathedral Catholic Takes a Loss

Cathedral Catholic entered their contest against St. Augustine on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Dons lost 5-1 to the Saints. If Cathedral Catholic were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to St. Augustine when the teams met back in February of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cathedral Catholic suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 6-5-2. As for St. Augustine, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4-1.

Coming up, Cathedral Catholic will host Classical Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Augustine, they will head out to square off against Mission Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
