After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Hamilton, Howard Tech was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the East Ridge Pioneers by a score of 10-7. The high-scoring effort was just what the Hustlin' Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Howard Tech's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8. As for East Ridge, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Howard Tech will take on Notre Dame at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Hustlin' Tigers are facing the Fighting Irish at the right time seeing as the Fighting Irish are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for East Ridge, they will welcome Lookout Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: the Yellowjackets will have lost five straight heading into Tuesday's game.
