Baseball Game Preview: Mt. Pleasant Tigers vs. Battle Creek Grizzlies

For the second straight game, Mt. Pleasant will face off against Battle Creek. The Tigers will host the Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Pleasant is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Mt. Pleasant lost 13-5 to Battle Creek on Monday.

For Battle Creek's part, the team relied heavily on Bennett Hunter, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Those five RBI gave Hunter a new career-high. Brody Swoish was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

The victory snapped Battle Creek's losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-11 record. As for Mt. Pleasant, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
