Bishop Brossart won the last time they faced Newport Central Catholic and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Thoroughbreds 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Bishop Brossart's victory bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Newport Central Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Bishop Brossart will head out to take on Campbell County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Newport Central Catholic, they will challenge Lawrenceburg at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
