Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Notre Dame fell victim to Wilson Area and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 18-0. The Spartans have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Wilson Area, their record is now 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame will welcome Lincoln Leadership Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Wilson Area, they will host Saucon Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 11.9 runs per game this season.
