Soccer Recap: Palmetto Comes Up Short

Palmetto lost against St. Joseph's Catholic back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs came up short against the Knights, falling 5-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Palmetto were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Bramble Martin, who's now up to 19 this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Palmetto and nudges their season record down to 7-8. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-4.

Palmetto wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against Christ Church Episcopal on the 24th. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Powdersville on the 24th.
