Volleyball Recap: Plantation Falls to Deerfield Beach in First Game of Season

Plantation kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Deerfield Beach Bucks. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Plantation started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-20.

The victory made it two in a row for Deerfield Beach and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Plantation will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Nova at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Deerfield Beach, they will head out on the road to challenge South Plantation at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
