Baseball Game Preview: West Windsor-Plainsboro North Knights vs. West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates

The West Windsor-Plainsboro North Knights will head out to challenge the West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

West Windsor-Plainsboro North managed to slip by Steinert the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights came up short against the Spartans on Wednesday, falling 8-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Knights were not able to get on the board.

West Windsor-Plainsboro South couldn't beat Lawrenceville School on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Pirates fell just short of the Big Red by a score of 8-6. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bennett Siegel made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonah Kasof, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

West Windsor-Plainsboro South's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for West Windsor-Plainsboro North, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

West Windsor-Plainsboro North beat West Windsor-Plainsboro South 8-5 in their previous meeting back in April. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
