It's playoff time, and Marion had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Van Buren Pointers on Wednesday. The Patriots are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 18 straight.

KENNEDY BULLINS paced Marion's offense, picking up 11 kills. BULLINS got some help from TAYLOR CHAMNESS and her 14 assists. Finally, BULLINS was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Despite the loss, Van Buren still got an impressive performance from Ally Hildebrand, who had 12 digs. Hildebrand has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Marion's victory bumped their record up to 27-2. As for Van Buren, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 17-8-1.

Looking ahead, Marion will challenge Farmington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Van Buren does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
