Football Recap: Bellingham Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bellingham fell victim to Squalicum and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were beaten by the Storm 44-0. The Bayhawks have struggled against the Storm recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Squalicum's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Martin Gavino, who rushed for 84 yards and three TDs, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Ray Hoffmann, who threw for 167 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Bellingham now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Squalicum, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, Bellingham will be playing at home against Oak Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bayhawks will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Squalicum does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
