Soccer Recap: Verbum Dei Jesuit Comes Up Short

Verbum Dei Jesuit was the 1-0 winner over St. Genevieve when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Verbum Dei Jesuit Eagles came up short against the St. Genevieve Valiants on Friday, falling 4-1. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Verbum Dei Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 4-14-1. As for St. Genevieve, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 2-9 record.

Verbum Dei Jesuit will welcome St. Anthony at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Genevieve, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Paraclete at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
