Canyon Hills won the last time they faced El Cajon Valley and things went their way  on Friday too. The Rattlers enjoyed a cozy  32-13 win over the Braves. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Rattlers.
Canyon Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Makahi Fields-Cook led the charge by rushing for 207 yards and one  score while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.  Taylon Sheriff also helped out with an impressive 99  receiving yards.
 Canyon Hills didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Sheriff and  Reece Fogg. Fogg is also crushing it when it comes to  total tackles: he's   made at least five every time he's  taken the field this season. Canyon Hills received some extra help from  Josiah Strother, whose fumble return for a touchdown  made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Canyon Hills now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for El Cajon Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canyon Hills will face off against Army-Navy at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Rattlers will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 31  points  every time they've taken the field this season. As for El Cajon Valley, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Orange Glen  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
