Basketball Recap: Mineral Springs Takes a Loss

Mineral Springs was the 47-38 winner over Mount Ida when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Mineral Springs Hornets were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 48-47 to the Mount Ida Lions. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mineral Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Mount Ida, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6.

Mineral Springs will welcome Bradley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Ida, they are taking a road trip to square off against Oden at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
